My experience with Apartments at sound has been great. Thanks to Melissa for her assistance during the leasing process and taking it smooth. Also appreciate Daniel for his quick and efficient responses to any maintenance requests. Support has been truly great. This community’s beaut and top notch amenities contribute to making it a wonderful place to live.
I've had two maintenance requests open since 9/19 that have had zero response to. I don't know what happened to the team since they used to be so good about response times and communication before, but now I get nothing back no matter how often I check in. The leasing office keeps telling me they will ping the team, but somehow my requests get lost in their system or there are no notes despite being open for over a month.
I know whoever runs this page will tell me to communicate my concerns to their leasing office, but guess what - that's what I do every week since these maintenance requests turned a month old. I know the team is busy, but how hard is it to send an email or even just leave a note in your own system?
12/4/23 edit: Shortly after leaving this review (seems to be what it takes to get their attention,) I got a call from the office telling me they wanted to meet to discuss what had happened. They sent 4 guys to my apartment to tell me how much my experience means to them and that it would be the top priority. I got a call that following Tuesday, 11/7 telling me that the new parts would be in that Thursday (11/9) and asking me to change this review. I figured that I should leave it up until the issue was resolved since they didn't care until the review was left. Now almost one month later, radio silence and I can't get any updates from the leasing office.
This apartment complex has a serious issue with people (residents or non residence) stealing other peoples packages. I have had 4 packages stolen from the mailroom in like last 4 months. Parcel pending has not helped us either as they get filled up fast and rest of the packages are left out in the mail room. The team at the Sound has done absolutely nothing about our incidents. We just go back and forth in emails and calls and they are not giving any solution regarding their residents concern. If you don’t want to have your packages stolen, then I would highly suggest that you don’t go with this apartment and look at other options.
Without sounding like a paid actor, I highly recommend this place! The maintenance is helpful and responsive, the landscapers are very understanding and forgiving when I leave my pup in the yard and she goes Karen on them and the leasing agents are so friendly and put on fun events. I am not hugely into social gatherings especially where I know nearly no one but I have surprisingly really enjoyed every community event to I have attended, especially when hosted by Donte & Sabina! I have lived here for a total of 3 years and have loved nearly every minute of it (no place can be perfect). I am very sad to be leaving this amazing complex, if only I could pick it up and move it to California with me!
Daniel was very nice and professional and completed the HVAC request and efficiently. I always have a good experience with The Sound’s maintenance team!
Daniel came and fixed my refrigerator and it works great. He was very nice and helpful! When I told him that the apartments let my work order go unanswered for over a month for my very loud freezer fan, he was very disappointed to hear that. I placed an order yesterday out of desperation and he came this morning, because he saw it and he cares people and about the work getting done. Thank you very much, Daniel!
My AC went out on a Friday afternoon with 105+ degree temps forecast alol weekend and Daniel came very quick (within 10 minutes of submitting the request!). He was able to find out the compressor went bad but the part had to be ordered. He installed a portable AC on the spot and all was repaired by Tuesday morning. Thanks Daniel!
